We've had some good luck with 4th RD DTs
Wren was on my radar. Another high character guy.

It is a Ren Wren situation for the Bengals.

Bengals tend to pick good talent in 4th. Lets hope Wren is another good one.
I feel better now about Wren, sounds like nice role player in 8 or 9 man DL rotation.
Love the selection of Wren!

Don’t forget everyone’s favorite WR - Cody Core
And if he can get Tate to actually catch the ball then we are set at the position.
ESPN noted that he was team Captain in 2018. Not sure what that means in the late 4th round but usually that means a good person as well as a good player.

Sample, Finley, and Wren all had a really good Senior Bowl week I'm seeing a trend lol.
I think the Bengals will draft Tranquill in 5th, and get another back in Chase Hanson in the 6th.

Lol see our 2nd round pick. Never too early apparently.

Post of the year
I hate a lack of fundamentals in any sport. But, pro football has changed as fantasy football grew. More points given for offense than defense in fantasy so fans want 30 to 27 games versus 13-10 games
You 'get off my lawn' old farts crack me up with your nostalgia.
You take something and completely bend and twist it to a "back in my day" argument. You still don't ***** get it.
I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH TAKING SAMPLE AS THE TIGHT END PICK.
I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH WHERE THEY TOOK HIM. THEY COULD HAVE HAD HIM IN RD 4 AND EVEN IF HE WAS GONE BY THEN, THEY WOULD NOT HAVE MISSED HIM BECAUSE HE'S A BLOCKING TE.
It's like people flipping out last year that the Bengals couldn't get rid of some 6th rd backup WR because he was too important on special teams, even though he hadn't done jack squat up to then or after.
Do you think you and the other old farts (i'm 53 btw) could take a second and understand the point made and not go wandering out in the middle of a field, muttering to yourselves and each other?
With that, i'm done talking about the TE pick and will not be replying to any more posts to me about it.
Moving on...

Wasn't Callahan a coach at the Senior Bowl?

Taylor personally called Ross after the trade rumors came out and told him they were complete bs. I think he's high on him.

Wren Rentzel?
Sorry, but no one will probably get that.

If they get him to reach his potential then he can be an absolute monster! Has the potential to be FAR more than a rotational player. 5.01 40 and 30 reps. Very quick for his size and strong as a bull.
