Glad we traded back. Would be a hard #42 to swallow. Good blocking TE

It’s Jerome Simpson’s TE brother from a different mother...
Who?
Strong, physical blocking TE who can catch. They must have liked him a lot more than Mack Wilson at that spot.

WTH, give them two of our five lol

Love the Sample pick BTW, great blocker that can catch, just what we needed at TE.
That's a bit of a reach IMHO. I thought they'd look Oliver later. Sample over Dawson know or sternberger? Higher rated CB and wr there
Not too excited about this one. Doesn't seem like a 2nd round guy at all, particularly with so many good players still out there.
*sad trombone*
That 487 career receiving yards was too hard to pass up on in the 2nd

Agreed.
The defense is the other half of the game ffs!!!! Get some D!!! so the next pick will be a RB I presume?
Well that was weird. They follow an outstanding first round pick with a bizarre second rounder - Sample would have been there in 3 or even 4. Major reach when a perfect LB was sitting there.
Sample had a 4th round grade. What the hell?!
Hopefully we trade back up.

Yeah...blah pick.

Williams was a no brainer in the 1st.

The later rounds require you to use analysis and this is a bit of a whiff. We have Eifert, just gave Uzomah a 3 year deal...then draft his guy who we could have likely got in 3.

We just drafted our future 3rd string TE in round 2. Wtf would have rather had a damn WR if they wanted to get stupid like that.
Most be looking at character guys. Both Jonah and Drew are great locker room type guys.
Wasn’t impressed, hope for best. I guess.

Our best blocking TE already

Blocking TE’s are a dime a dozen in the 6th round. Difference making D-lineman, LB’s, and WR’s are not. Terrible pick that I’m sure will get ripped nationally.
