The rap on Wilson is he isn't the best run defender. He is however easily the best pass defense LB in the draft. I don't think he lasts until 3.
As much as the Bengals need a LB, I think I'm going pure BPA. Honestly I'm leaning CB, but I'd consider Irv Smith as well.

So one of them was right.

That's what we need though, isn't it? Passing offenses carved us up in the middle of the field last year.

I'm going out on a limb and say Drew Lock in the 2nd (sits for 2 yrs behind Dalton) and comes out like a seasoned vet...

I would like it if somehow the Bengals snag Cody Ford (G) or Taylor (OT) in round 2 and Wilson in round 3. Ford could probably play RT if needed.

He'd have to get past Denver first.
There looks to be a lot of CB and WR’s and safeties available. Jaylon Ferguson and maybe Chase Winovich at defensive end. I like Juan Thornhill at Safety a lot.

Wilson? The Alabama LB? Hes a third or fourth rounder

Who knows with Elway. It’s crazy how bad he’s been at taking QB’s.

I didnt see him attack the LoS alot like White and Bush but he could stack and shed climbing offensive linemen and get to the ball carrier better than any Linebacker in the draft.

No way he last until the 4th.

Thornhill is a beast. Don't know if it is a need but he is good.

The revenge tour did not end well for Winovich.

I'd rather see the Bengals go with the best defender available, hopefully a LB, in round 2 since they still really need defense based on last season then maybe get Will Grier in the 3rd. I think he will still be available and has a lot of potential to sit behind Andy and learn. That said, I'd even more like to see Andy return to 2015 form with a better team around him and not have to think about a QB for some time.
Drew Lock needs a team where he can sit and learn for AT LEAST a full season if not two full season behind a sound QB and have a QB guru tutoring him. To put it lightly his mechanics and technical QB skill are terrible. He has monster physical abilities but is in serious need of a LOT of coaching.

Turns out he was miss diagnosed at the combine, sources say he's fine. Imagine that.
I am thankful the Bengals pulled the trigger early on OT, because later in round 1, the run on OT thins the position greatly with the exception of Ford and Taylor inexplicably still there.
