Bengals brought him back. He was lost in 2024 to a ruptured achilles tendon. He has plenty of time to rehab. In essence, he got 2 years off from a wear and tear on his body.

He is a vet and showed some flashes. I had high hopes for him in 2024, then he was injured.

Bengals are not the only team who have missed on FA's. I know everyone wants the big name guys, but so many cases of misses.

I've been hearing all these pundits acting like it's a given that the Bengals are a cheap team. I get that they messed up with Higgins, Chase, Hendrickson, and others. Yeah, they should have signed Bates. All fans could probably make similar complaints about their teams.

Seriously. This is beyond unacceptable. This franchise is A walking clown show. Not only do we STILL not have one of the big 3 signed, we have not improved the team one bit in free agency. A team with a top 2 qb who missed the playoffs last year. Watching as quality contributors get signed one by one to reasonable deals while we sit on our hands. I am done spending anything on this team. I hope many of you will join me.
