Why we need to go after these guys in FA
Posted by: EatonFan - 03-10-2025, 10:51 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (1)

Amari Cooper
Mike Williams

We'd have a five headed monster at WR and TE.

They are both in their early 30s and should be somewhat cheap. They bring experience and would be a matchup nightmare for the defense's 3rd and 4th CBs.

Just one of them would be great really.

Bengals social media posted about Mike G saying " did anyone ask for another tight end?" I swear these assholes are trolling us and hate the fans. Every post the media team makes has 99% negative comments from all us bengals fans. I never saw another sports teams page that negative. There is no way they're this ignorant. They just dont care... Why can't Mike just sell the team or be forced into selling? It's beyond embarrassing...

PFF grades are pretty solid for everything but pass rushing

Seems like a direct replacement for ADG. Probably gonna come right in and start in our new commitment to 4-3 as our base defense

Was behind Dean and all the comments from Eagles fans i saw was that he did a great job when he was called upon and they aren’t happy he’s gone

  Bears Interested In Hendrickson?!
Posted by: BFritz21 - 03-10-2025, 12:17 AM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (20)

A friend of mine that's from Chicago and lives there now (he was cousin's best friend when he died in the World Trade on 9/11) just mentioned that he's hearing rumblings up there that the Bears might be interested in Trey, so I decided to look it up.

Sure enough, a few sites are listing it as a possibility:

AthlonSports has us trading Hendrickson, our first round pick, and a fourth round pick to Chicago for their first (#10) and their third round pick.

It feels like we'd be getting hosed in that scenario.

BearsWire has us only getting a third round pick in the trade.

It might be because it's late, but I'm having troubles seeing what SportingNeews is suggesting.

I think they're saying Hendrickson for the #41 pick, but then down the page it says also maybe the #39 pick, and/or future picks, which that might not be bad and we could use those to trade for players or more picks.

BearGoggles says just one of the second round picks.

I might want another pick to sweeten the deal.

There's a few more sites with suggestions, but what do you think about those?

  Free agent predictions

We're almost out of time but I thought it would be good to see even a few predictions from the board. I hope I'm wrong but I'll go with someone overpaying some guards right at noon and we settle for Will Hernandez. That creates a big need for a run blocking LG but that's my guess on the first move. We go the early afternoon hearing interest in bigger name DL and then we ink BJ Hill and spin it as him "finding his value". Also assuming that Tee will be very vocal and no action, same for Trey, hope I'm wrong.
