  Bengals gift ideas?
Posted by: Shake n Blake - 11-29-2015, 02:14 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (4)

I always get Bengals gifts for holidays. I'm all set on shirts, mugs etc, so I've been looking for interesting memorabilia, trinkets, decorations and games for the man cave. I've seen NFL foosball tables and checkers boards, but it seems the coolest and most interesting items are never avaiable for the Bengals.

So what are some really cool Bengals gifts you have (or want)?

  Rams inactives
Posted by: bfine32 - 11-29-2015, 02:13 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (3)

WR Mario Alford
LB P.J. Dawson
TE C.J. Uzomah
OT Cedric Ogbuehi
DT Marcus Hardison
DT Pat Sims (knee)
DE Margus Hunt

Looks like Adam is good to go.

Ced is on the 53 but inactive

Hardison and Dawson must be terrible in practice

Will we ever see Alford?

To anyone considering going to Cleveland game
Posted by: Nasty Nati - 11-28-2015, 06:46 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (8)

Tickets are crazy cheap right now..... Just bought 4 tix 4 rows from field on visitors side at 20 yard line (sec 106). I paid $110 shipped for all 4 tix. Broke down to $27.50 each seat lmao..... I bought mine on ebay, and there were a lot more deals on there too. Wasn't planning on making the trip up this season, but for that price there is no way I could pass on it.... Hope to see mad Bengals fans at the game..... Who Dey!!!

WHO DEY prognostication for 11/29/15
1pm game at home = it will be nice to get our swagger back on Dancing

Question: Would I be correct in saying we want the Pats to win (Broncos to lose)?
No way Pats don't get the #1 seed so we may as well fight for #2......right?

  Rams kryptonite?
Posted by: gobobro - 11-27-2015, 12:02 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (10)

So I was digging through various Rams boards and sites, and came across a link to this article:

Rams Defense Exposed By Bears

Basically, it says that Gregg Williams' defenses have the most success when getting exotic against 3 and 4 receiver sets. To keep that defense in check, Chicago played almost the entire game out of 12 personnel (1 running back, and 2 tight ends). That personnel group kept the Rams defense from getting nutty with the blitzes, and allowed tremendous flexibility for the Bears (it's nice having Zach Miller and Martellus Bennett). They'd have a tight end on either side of the line, loaded to one side of the line or the other, split out wide, one playing a fullback role, etc...).

The following week, despite having tight ends you've never heard of, the Ravens followed the same formula for the victory.

It seems like with Hewitt, Eifert, Bernard, Green, and Jones the Bengals would be ideally suited to this type of strategy. They can move those guys all over the field without leaving their comfort zone.

Anyone think Ced is active this week?

Thread title says it all.

Does anyone think that Ced will be active this week?
The bigger question - assuming no one is injured - does he get any reps?

Dalton and Atkins Among Leaders In ProBowl Voting!
Posted by: BFritz21 - 11-27-2015, 01:44 AM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (7)

Dalton has the THIRD-MOST votes for the Pro Bowl,, only behind Cam and Brady:

Quote:Through 10 games, Dalton has completed 218 of 335 passes (65.1-percent) for 2,738 yards (8.17 yards per attempt) with 20 touchdowns vs five interceptions. Dalton has added two more scores on the ground and currently has a passer rating of 104.0, the third highest of any quarterback. He also has a 71.3 total QBR, the fourth best of any quarterback.

The only other Bengals player in the top two of his position is Geno Atkins, who is the top vote-getting defensive tackle as of today. Atkins has easily been one of the best defensive players in football this season, so seeing him poised to be the top defensive tackle in Pro Bowl voting is a well-deserved honor.

Through 10 games this year, Atkins has seven sacks, 31 total tackles and one forced fumble. He's been a beast in the middle and is a big reason why the Bengals defense is once again among the league leaders in sacks (eighth most of any team).

Other players on our team are also receiving a lot of votes (considering it's us), which is huge and shows that our team is LOADED with too much talent to ignore anymore:

A.J. Green has the seventh most votes among wide receivers, Tyler Eifert has the third most votes among tight ends, Russell Bodine has the ninth most votes among centers, Kevin Zeitler and Clint Boling have the fourth the ninth most votes among guards respectively, Andrew Whitworth has the fifth most votes among tackles, Carlos Dunlap has the fourth most votes among defensive ends, Adam Jones has the ninth most votes among cornerbacks (and eighth most among return specialists), Reggie Nelson has the sixth most votes among free safeties, and Cedric Peerman has the sixth most votes among special teamers.

I feel like our backs as a duo would be in there if they could vote for duos, and that Hill may climb back into the top of the voting if Hue stays true to saying the carries will go back to Hill as a majority, especially with it getting cold in Cincinnati (although it was unusually warn today).

I love that people all across the country are finally giving us love and recognizing that we have talent!

One of many reasons I hate the steelers

https://www.reddit.com/r/steelers/comments/3u63bt/steelers_coaching_staff_appreciation_thread/

Take a second to read this magical thread from the delusional fan base that is the steelere. They want to show appreciation to a staff that doesn't tolerate off the field issues like the browns do with Johnny football. So they ignore bells drug use, James harrisons domestic violence, big Bens rape accusations, vicks convicted dog murdering, but no they are the classiest team in the league that doesn't put up with any off the field issues. I ***** hate all steeler fans so much
