Goats of the game |

1. Hue - think he's been reading his own press. All the exotic horseshit needs to be throttled down. Execute textbook football plays. Lineup and beat your man. Sit Jeremy Hill until he figures his. Shit out.
2. Andy - he's been getting all the credit. His deep ball was non existent tonight, and he looked spooked.
3. Eifert - the rare times Andy made good throws, Tyler drops them.
4. The rest of the offense. Lousy play topped off by a fumble by our best player that seals it for Texans.
The disturbing thing is if Hoyer stays in, I think the Texans lock it up much earlier.
Willing to chalk this up to an off night, not a lousy team or prime time curse. Unfortunately we've got AZ next. Yikes.

If anyone thinks this team will be able to win a playoff game, much less a Super Bowl, you're joking yourself.
You know as well as I do what tonight showed. This team can't handle the big games, even against bottom of the barrel competition.

Although we played the Texans offense, it was the only positive part of this game. The TD play with Hopkins was just a great throw and catch. Hopkins was also held without a catch the entire first half. The series of multiple three and outs was very impressive.
The Bengals are gonna have to get over this game quickly and get ready for the Cardinals. Hopefully, they'll come out with some energy unlike tonight.

Play Action Pass With A Minute Left ????? |

With a minute to go, nobody and their brother is going to bite on the play action fake. That the Bengals tried this is just a waste. You drop back and pass, you do not fake the hand off, nobody is biting on the hand-off there. I love Paul Brown and Sam Wyche and Hue Jackson, but sometimes the Bengals think they are going to fake everybody out of their shoes. Needing a touchdown with only a minute to go, nobody is biting on the play action pass. Doing it is a waste of time, when time can NOT be wasted. It didn't work and we didn't come back and win. A huge wasted play....The Bengals have one heck of a team, but they need to avoid the Wicky Wacky, which has shot them in the foot in the great years of the 1980's. ...Nobody is biting on the fake hand-off there, and the coaches should know better.
When I say Wicky Wacky, I mean Wyche against 49ers in 1980's doing an on side kick to the side of the field where there were no Bengals. 49ers picked it up for an easy touchdown. When asked why he would do such a thing, Wyche said he didn't think they would be looking for it. That is Wicky Wacky....Doing a play action fake with a minute left and needing a lot of yards and a touchdown, that is also Wicky Wacky......The Bengals of 2015 are a good team, but they must avoid the franchise history of Wicky Wacky.

Chargers Jersey in Gilberrys Locker? |

I was watching this pointless video on NFL.com http://www.bengals.com/media-lounge/videos/Locker-Room-Confidential--Wk-10/027c1b17-ff45-4721-8f95-cb8df7eb396b and noticed something strange.
Gilberry has a Chargers jersey in his locker...
He was born and raised in Alabama, and played there as well. Hasn't played for the Chargers... and I don't believe has relatives that play for the team.
So what is the story behind this mysterious jersey in his locker? Did he get a signed Phillip Rivers jersey and just never moved it out of this locker after we beat them? I found it strange... I don't know if anyone has any insight on this, but thought it was an interesting topic.
I've always been OK with players trading jerseys, as long as it wasn't a division rival, or after the super bowl or something. Maybe that explains it.

Cincinnati Bengals 11-3
Pittsburgh Steelers 9-6
Baltimore Ravens 5-10
Cleveland Browns 3-12
The Bengals have 2 games left to play
The Steelers have 1 games left to play
The Ravens have 1 games left to play
The Browns have 1 games left to play
Bengals Magic Number against the Browns is 0. Browns out of the Division Race, eliminated from Playoffs.
Bengals Magic Number against the Ravens is 0. Ravens out of the Division Race, eliminated from the playoffs.
Bengals Magic Number against the Steelers is 0. Steelers out of the Division Race, if the Jets win next week or the Steelers lose, the Steelers are out of the playoffs.
Bengals are AFC North Champions!!!
A Bengals win or a Division Rival loss lowers the Magic Number by 1.
I will update this every weekend
