They are investigating the cost of putting a dome over Paycor Stadium. Not sure how I feel about a dome in the AFCN, but if they want it, I'll learn to live with it.

Quote:As the Bengals' lease at Paycor Stadium inches toward a conclusion, the powers-that-be in and around Cincinnati are considering different options for moving forward.
Via the Cincinnati Business Courier, Hamilton County will "look at how much it will cost and the logistics" of adding a dome to the venue.
The thinking is that a roof will allow the stadium to be used in the winter months.
The Cincinnati Enquirer has quotes from Hamilton County Board of Commissioners President Alicia Reece, who offers a pragmatic take on the issue of adding a lid to the stadium.
"People have been asking us about a dome," Reece said. "We don't want somebody sitting here in 20 years asking, 'Why in the world didn't they think about it?' Because I've been thinking the same thing, 'Why didn't these guys get a dome last time?'"
Domes definitely increase revenue opportunities, eliminating weather as a factor in scheduling events.

Interesting little factoids - Yoshi and Burton |

Now this is NOT pitting them against each other; it's just interesting looking at the measurables:
Yoshi:
Height 6-3
Weight 205
Arms 32
Hand 8.75
40 time: 4.43
Vertical Jump: 39
Burton:
Height 6-0
Weight 196
Arms 31
Hand 9.84
40 time: 4.45
Vertical Jump: 38.5
It's interesting that in many ways they are physically very similar. Both are fast with Yoshi a touch faster. Both have good arm length and vertical jump. Yoshi is a bit taller and more muscular and Burton has larger hands. Development wise Yoshi is ahead by dint of an extra year of experience and the work he did in the offseason addressing his one weakness, catching with the body too much. The difference has been dramatic. Burton right now needs reps and to improve his route recognition and running. Both should develop into receivers that are mismatches for defenses.

You are in luck only if you live in Cincinnati, Cleveland, or Pittsburgh's normal viewing areas. Oh and our little slice of Bengaldom down in Tigerland Baton Rouge
https://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2024&wk=7
announcers: Spero Dedes (play by play)
Adam Archuleta (analyst)
Aditi Kinkhabwala (sideline
unfortunately, the referee for the game is Ron Torbert forever hated by all Bengals' fans for his blown calls in the 2022 AFC Championship game and of course that infamous DPI that wasn't called in the Super Bowl
Uni combo: white jersey, black pants, white socks

Hendrickson this year so far:
- Got Chukwuma Okorafor, "demoted."
- Got Kingsley Suamataia, demoted.
- Got Cornelius Lucas, "demoted."
- Got Andrew Thomas injured for the season.
(Updated 10/20) - Got Jedrick Wills to FS twice and catch a ball that wasn't meant for him.
(Updated 11/03)- injured the starter (Kolton Miller) on a rush, injured the first T off the bench (Andrus Peat) on a rush and just beat up on Thayer Munford, shoving him on his culo.
(updated 11/04)- Raiders have fired their oline coach, probably because he didn't give help on the left side for Trey, in the form of chips or similar.
All via pass rushing.
And 2 of those guys, he didn't even record a sack.
No one is safe.
Or to quote an awesome Italian rap song:
La forza più micidiale dell'universo, niente può sfuggirgli.
Which translates to: "The most deadly force in the universe, nothing can escape it."
Will continue to update this list throughout the year, if he ruins anyone else's season

This is the healthiest this team has been all year *knock on wood*. I believe every starter will most likely play this week, other than Dax Hill who is out for the year.
It'll be interesting to see how this team really looks with a full compliment of players. Now is the time to start stacking wins and go on a run with healthy players and a soft schedule. Let's get it.
