Burrow gets his head together and processes like the Joe of old.
KC had trouble guarding 2 quality TE's in their opener, they limit Gisecki but Erick All makes an impact with key catches.
Burton leaves the witness protection program and has 5 receptions.
Ossai turns it on and provides multiple pressures and one sack.
Bengals commit no turnovers.
Fell free to offer more.

Bengals are NOT the team to beat in AFC |

I know Chase said they are, but that don't make it so. The back to back Super Bowl Chiefs are. Then come last years Play-Off teams. Bringing up the rear are teams such as Last in AFC North Bengals. So to act like Bengals were in Super Bowl in February of 2024 is silly, their season had been over for weeks.
So just because Chase says it, does not make it so. I still think Bengals could bounce back from a bad start and have a play-off season. Let's not pretend Bengals are the back to back Super Bowl winners, because they just aren't. Bengals are not even the AFC North Champs of last season.

What was initially thought of as a veterans day could be something more.
In the injury report, Willson was a DNP for a knee injury. Concerning, as we kind of need him right now.

Imperative that Burrow Plays Entire Season Healthy |

It is imperative that Burrow plays the entire season healthy, regardless if the Bengals make the playoff. Playing this year healthy will give Burrow psychological oxygen (a breather) from dings, Rehab, and injuries. He needs a healthy year badly. Let's look at Burrow's injury history the last few years...
-hand/wrist: injuries in 2017, 2021, & 2023.
-Ribs: 2020 during national championship game.
-knees: MCL/ACL/PCL & meniscus tear 2020; grade 1 knee strain 2022, grade 2 MCL strain 2022
-calf: probably grade 2-3 strain in 2023.
These prior injuries are a lot to deal with, even for the Superman QB in Burrow. Injuries accumulate psychological toil and the athlete begins to doubt his or her career in the sport. I believe prior injuries are affecting his play early in the season. Pervasive doubt is the death knell for an athlete in sports. Burrow needs to believe that health is possible. It would be nice and go a long way if Burrow can play the entire season relatively healthy from major injury. It would be even greater if the Bengals to make it back and win the Super Bowl. But the best case scenario is for the Bengals to win the Super Bowl with a healthy Burrow.

So we've debated the poor game and causes a lot. I'm a big Burrow fan. But, it seems to take him a few games to react to game speed and go through the right reads.
Then, I see this:
