The staff just doesn't have the team ready Game 1. Maybe it's the soft training camps?

Are they dinking and dunking cuz of burrow’s wrist?

I sort of expect slow starts since it has been this way in the ZT era.  I would not be surprised if they look different against the Chiefs and win in Arrowhead.

I can see them winning too. IF Tee is healthy

If they can’t run the ball and can’t stretch the  field, they are done.  This offense is out of sync and th new offensive coordinator is too vanilla.
They make it to easy to defend.

I know I've been complaining about the -2 yard pass for years now. That's prior to any wrist injury.

The Interior of both OL and DL is a concern.

They start every year like this. I'd say our coaches come out extremely conservative until they're forced otherwise.

Look at the state of this.

This is not a man who has control of his players, whoever said the vibes weren’t right in the locker room was spot on.

Yeah, that's pretty bad. But I blame Ja'Marr for that; if Zac says he can't answer when he knew Chase was going to play, then the star WR, who the Bengals needed, is refusing to communicate with his bosses about his plans. What can Zac do? If he tells Chase he can't play in the game, then the Bengals would have no top WR for the game and, in addition, the front office would be upset that Zac's inserted himself in the negotiations. Chase had a responsibility to communicate early his plans to play and to practice.

But this entire board said rankins was now a pass rushing threat at DT and that’s what we needed. We couldn’t stop the run last year and we downgraded on D. We will be bottom 5 rush all year long. The lack of hits in the draft the last 5 years is showing.

If burrow is injured ZT has a total pass on the year and if Burrow isn't he will be carried by him.  The WheelBurrow is designed to carry dead weight v

The other 3 teams made the playoffs last year. They are overall better than past years!

Air burrow is grounded. 2nd lowest yards per attempt in the league today. Tell me his wrist is good. Orlando brown is a snake saying we’re gonna see a different Joey. I know he’s talking about his legs, produced 10 points today.

It's week 1. We've all seen the bounce backs and it will probably be another week before we see it with the Chiefs coming up. I just think we've been regressing with our player replacements and part of it is just poor planning. Went into the draft with more holes after free agency and that's never good. Rankins didn't look good and our plan of two rookie backups is off to a rough start with them both hurt. Dax seems to be big step back wherever he is on the field. The running backs might not be a step back too early to tell but we just don't use the running game enough period. I don't want to read too much into it but I just didn't feel the urgency from Burrow today. Week 1 seeing him flex his wrist is very troubling.

Wells the Pats secondary is good. They're definitely can be alot of reasons he would check down. Maybe the play just isn't there and scrambling will only get him so much. I always say this but I'm just not sure why we don't use the backs more creatively in the pass game. Chase Brown has electric speed game plan some ways to get him the ball in space on the move. Easier said than done when your going 3 and out.

I agree that they will look better in the KC game. The problem is that the Bengals typically need two games to right the ship. Since 2019, they are the only NFL team to have only one win (or fewer) in the first two weeks of the season. The announcers were having a field day today talking about how the Bengals under Taylor are always off to these slow starts.

Yeah that pisses me off, you can't get Chase brown in space?

Then I remembered trying to get Gio in space and him getting concussions on screens. Like scheme something up for the fastest players on our team, you're going to get smoked by KC who will show you how that's done.

It's tough to say if the defense is as bad as the offense, because I think in some cases it's worse, and the points don't show it sometimes.

The ball security and tackling today was atrocious. Seems like we're saying "the tackling" for the last couple years under anarumo. Lou should say first man to the ball needs to bring them down, period. Why are runners getting through 7 of us? The ****.

Hudson said he thought nobody was around him. Are you an idiot, you weren't even in the endzone yet lol. He should go back to the practice squad with that comment lol.

I don't need Burrow running if he's just going to fumble the ball all over the place.

Zac looks like a total pushover.  If he doesnt step up and show the players he is in charge, he is going to lose the respect of the locker room.  He needs to tell Chase and the media that he expects Chase to practice and if Chase doesnt practice he wont play.  None of this I dont know if Chase is going to play because Chase hasnt told me if he will play or not.  Is Chase the head coach or is Zac?  Zac looks weak and not head coach material with the way he is handling this.

“They start every year like this”

This is a last place schedule y’all. They can’t handle last place teams like the Patriots? What start of the year had them playing worse teams then this? This is different. All other starts they were playing first place schedules. Teams that were coming off f winning seasons.
