Dan orlovosky is right about zac!
People will be using the same two years for the next 10 years. Like Lou and Mixon were not on those same teams, but people I willing to shoot them into the sun. Somehow, others are above reproach.

There was success with Burrow throwing to Chase, Higgins and Boyd. ( Yeah, no coach could squeeze wins out of those no name bums. Ninja ) Problems existed then and continue to do so. The successful ones continue to insist of building, being better and having no excuse for short comings. As nasty as Belichick nd Sabon were, they'd be up be 30 with 60 seconds to go and would rip a player for a false start. Changing things and adjusting, even when things are going well. Chiefs are back to back Champs. The only undefeated team, yet making moves are still happening. Accountability is huge for successful organizations.

1) Belichick without his star quarterback was barely able to win games 2) Sabans record in the NFL  15-17   I do agree with you..the Chiefs are pretty special from the owners down to the players..but ..the Chiefs are not blowing opponents away the majority of the time..............I am thinking..as far as we have come..we still are feeling Mike Brown to a certain degree

1) He had a huge step down in talent, yeah, but when he did have it, he still showed the goal for perfection. We still have Burrow playing. If this was a discussion with taylor starting Mac Jones all year, then this would be viable to the discussion. Wasn't calling for Saban to be the coach; was just showing that being good doesn't translate to complacency. The standard still must be high. The Chiefs are a modern equivalent to this. Some said they were washed trading away Hill. Nope, they made the moves. On the field, they call the plays to make wins. Mahomes lower stats. Kelce not his best start. Ranking not great across the board. They have the last two trophies and haven't lost a game this year.

Nothing is more annoying than a poster who continuously repeats themselves in back-to-back posts replying to the same person.  Why do you continue do that?

Secondly, I have never said fire Zac, for you to say that to me twice is incredibly stupid and dishonest.

Granted, it is not as stupid as saying “we should be so thankful to have Zac as our coach”.  I’m not sure what is worse, his situational play calling, or his lack of ability to get a play call in, or going for it on our 38 yd line in a close game late in the 3rd quarter?

Can’t wait for your next senseless comment, at least be truthful next time.

Are we sure this is Zac’s scheme? Detroit, SanFran, GB, Rams is his philosophy. The offense we are seeing isn’t anything like those teams.

Whatever it is, it is obviously's Zacs.

All these empty and shotgun sets are not seen in those offenses. Those teams are built around run games and play action. We soon forget how much better play calling was with Browning.

I’m not trying to slam Burrow but this offense is built around his strengths and what he likes. They said it in 2020 and I think it isn’t taken into consideration enough in these conversations.

I don’t want to be the one who brings it up but this offense is just as much Burrow  as it is Zac.

Zac still sucks as a play caller. But he’s limited….

Well it’s worth discussing. Zac can be the scapegoat but that’s the lazy out. We did see better play calling with Browning. Even Burrow supposedly took note.

I’ve long said Butrow is a system QB.

That’s why teams who sniff out the system can shut it down and there isn’t much that can be done.

You are slamming Burrow.

Listen, unfortunately the Tee injury came so late in the week that it screwed up the game plan. The bengals ran plays like they have 2 elite guys in the outside.

You can’t just scrap the game plan and come up with a new one on friday

I’m not slamming Burrow tho. I don’t know why we can’t analyze Burrow after 5 years without it being considered slamming.

We should revisit interviews in 2020 on how they built the system for Burrow. The empty sets. Shotgun plays and runs etc.

It’s fair to criticize Zac. It’s unfair to not take a holistic approach.

I get accused of the same. I do not think he is a good play caller, and I think it gets compounded by those who seem to be bigger coach fans than Bengals fans. Had to work myself out of those who choose that route. Some have seen the light, others have not. Cannot let that sway my behavior. I just maintain being objective and factual.

If they lose every game from here on out, it would not be surprised if they keep Taylor. Also, wouldn't be surprised if that were to happen, the spin doctors would place it 99% on the players and talk about "remember when" as if that applies to today.

And it’s unfair to willfully ignore how everyone applauded the offense diversity under Browning….

Including those who said Burrow can learn a lot from it.

You also forget that zac was heavily criticized for running TOO much in 2021

And read the rest of my other post. The game plan all week had Tee in it. An injury to a guy like that so late in the week absolutely throws everything off

I get it in theory but the offense hasn’t been great the last two weeks with Tee. Tee had been great tho.

And it didn’t “look” much different to where you could say that had to change with him being out.

Zac has shown to take his foot off the pedal when the defense is dominating. I truly believe that is why the offenses looked flat against the giants and browns.

If you have the 4th best HC in your division it’s going to be a constant uphill battle.

Evan has been shaky on longer FGS. He had 4th 7 He could have went for it, punted or kicked once again Zac made the worst choice. That decision changed momentum and ultimately cost us the game.
