Oh, I accept that both teams play in the same weather... but I reject your claim of "identical."
A RANDOM wind gust, or rain shower, or anything really - can affect the outcome of a crucial play.

I prefer to remove as many RANDOM elements as possible, and let the team's fate be in their own hands.

Honestly, an open air stadium should create a better Home Field Advantage for the home team. Look at the Steelers, for example.

They score more at home (21.7), but really it’s the defense that excels only allowing 18.7 ppg. 27-14-1 65% win percentage

Away games they score 20 ppg, against 22.4 given up. Somehow they are still an over .500 team since 2000 at 23-19.

I chose the Steelers as they have had sub par qb play since 2000, but are generally a tough and well coached team.

The biggest issue with the bengals is how they are built and having outside weather is typically not advantageous for a high volume pass team, with a defense that struggles at times to bring down the ball carrier.
