Spoiler alert for those who haven't looked into it. Armon Binns put up better numbers in 2012 than Iosivas did last year (with fewer TDs). Not much better, but it isn't a stretch to say they had very similar seasons. But yeah... Nothing is stopping Andre from building off his rookie year.
I was actually guessing about the TDs. I remembered Yoshi had a few last year, but I didn't really recall Binns having any. Having looked it up, turns out he had 1.

Andre Isovias and his athleticism are elite. He’s tall and fast. He’s strong and quick in ten yards. He’s got small hands for his size. He’s go8ng to be really good. How soon? That’s the unknown. I think he’s valuable this year but I think he steps into Tee’s role next year.

Marquies Valdez Scandling and Andre Iosivas are almost carbon copies of one another from and athleticism standpoint. Both were back of the draft picks (round 5 and 6). I seriously doubt Iosivas takes over Higgins role, but if he can do 50/500/2-5 a year that would be great.

Yes there are comparisons but Isovias still learning football so I’d say his upside is more. And I’m pretty confident he takes Tee’s place next year

What do you mean still learning football? He has been playing football a while now? You mean NFL football? MVS has multiple 600 yard season to his name. It’s pretty simple. I was following the discussion he hadn’t been tested over the middle. Ivy League and last year don’t correlate to a lot of work there. So absolutely without a doubt he’s still learning. You have to develop the toughness of catching balls over the middle and if you followed Isovias and were in tune with him then you’d know he needed to catch the ball out in front of him and with his hands. Receivers over the middle need to protect themselves and shield the ball from defenders. So absolutely without the millimeter of doubt he’s learning still.

What "still learning football" means in Yoshi's case is that he is incredibly raw and from a school not known for football or top shelf competition. He just spent all offseason learning how to catch away from his body. He has a tremendous amount of potential, but that needs to be unlocked though practice, in game exposure, and time on task.
He was a full time track athlete who played football part time. That is where the "still learning football" comes from.

Yes, no doubt Iosivas is still learning just like all young players. Him and Chase Brown improved a ton in the Offseason in catching the
ball away from their bodies like the best in Ja'Marr and Tee do.

Well anybody can take Tee's place next year. It's just a matter of it being a detriment to the team. A guy with 15 NFL receptions (5 coming in one blowout loss) isn't going to be my first choice. I get it... He's made a lot of catches in shorts.

Yoshi never got to celebrate his TDs. There was always some question about them.

Yoshi was working his way in last season and gaining Burrow's trust. He was being used as a redzone target. Then alas Burrow went out and almost immediately we had the ridiculous Stealer game where Browning was holding the ball too long and Yoshi burnt the secondary twice and was wide open for TDs but Browning failed to pull the trigger. His big issue area was catching the ball with his body and it sure seems he worked on that in offseason.
Having Yoshi and drafting Burton are why Chuck Sizzle being hurt is not as big an issue as it might have been.

Chase’s “hold-in” is obviously not ideal, but at least him and ownership seem to be on good terms.

It is an issue when it comes to punt returns, maybe KO returns too.
