Burrow seemed to of always had the biggest troubles with the Browns DC's...

For OL maybe get an assistant from either Detroit or Philly.

Please just no lazy in-house hires. Even if it did somewhat workout with Pitcher this season. Getting this DC right will either save or cost Zac his job. I don’t see him getting multiple staff turnovers while the clock is ticking on Burrow’s prime.

Saleh sure had some very good Defenses. Isn't Dennis Allen the DC of the Saints who was paying players to hurt other players?

Agree completely, no lazy in-house hires please. It is time to get this right. Bettcher was my scare but they fired him.

Bettcher actually had a better resume' than Anarumo before he came here...

I'd like to see Mike Vrabel interview for the DC job but he most likely is holding out for a HC gig and will most likely get one.

I think Robert “Rub and Tug” Kraft already has Vrabel’s name on a contract to coach New England.

That was Greg Williams under Sean Payton iirc.

Defensive Coordinator: Louie Cioffi
Offensive Line Coach: Derek Frazier
Linebackers Coach: Ronnie Regula
Defensive Line Coach: Mark Duffner (Now there's a name!)

In case some of you are wondering who these guys are, here's a link that'll explain it some.

You know, it's going to cost far, far less if we simply promote from within rather than bring in some flashy big-name guy from halfway across the country.

I can promise 1-thing w/ Wink. We'll get to the QB with more than 1 person.

I want nothing to do w/ Mayo, he enjoys being controversial.

Perhaps Perce from LA if they go a different direction. He did work w/ Marvin this past off-season.

He hates us cause he thinks Zac ran up the score.

I'm from Hamilton.  How bout me?

Don't know enough about specifics, but I've been impressed with Miami, SD(LAC), Denver, and Tennessee defenses over the last few years.  I've always preferred a more athletic line(i.e. Denver or SD(LAC)) than the Bengals Jurassic approach, but with our current personnel it's gonna take a few years to transform.

I'd like us to go with either Dennis Allen or Eberflus. I think their HC futures are really tainted so they'll be life-long coordinators. I think Allen could be another Spags.

I'd have no problem with a guy like Saleh, but one day he'll get another HC opportunity and I could see that in the next year or two.

Realistically, I can see the team bringing Al Golden back. He was viewed very favorably when he was here. He helped designing the nickle/3rd down packages for Lou.

A dark horse candidate to me would be our former secondary coach, Robert Livingston. I know this past year at Colorado was his only year as a DC, but he's beloved by the FO and was popular on Marvin's staff and Zac's staff.

Please no to Livingston. That Colorado Defense still cannot tackle and that may have been our D's biggest problem under Lou besides
the complicated scheme. Eberflus or Dennis Allen sound the most realistic to me and I would love either one the more I know about Allen.

A name to keep an eye on for the OL coach is Phil Rauscher. He was OLC at JAX and with the firing of Petersen will be looking for work.

Zac has an insider at JAX.

Saleh is going to give you an undisciplined and dirty defense

Unless I missed it in the forum, I guess this discussion as a topic post hasn't been mentioned?
If I did miss it, a thousand pardons.  Cool

I'll start it off:

A lot of buzz has surfaced about Al Golden (ex-Bengals linebacker coach) and Dennis Allen (ex-Saints coach).

What say you, brothers in Bengals Nation?   Ninja
