Notes From Training Camp 2025

So does that mean he played one of the best rushing teams in the NFL twice before the bye. I think they or Eagles were number 1. Oh wait, we also played the Eagles before the bye.

I understand the point you are attempting to make, but Jackson also was scored in at least 3 games in 2024 by #1 or #2 rushing offenses in the league.

Based on roster moves, it appears Trey did not report today. If someone sees something on him, let us know.

Trey is at practice in street clothes. Roster moves aren’t required to be reported until 4pm but I’m pretty sure that they had a roster spot for him without waiving someone. I’ll have to count again when I’m not on my phone

I have a hunch they really like Brooks also

The guy took a broken bone in his neck for the team. It was the least that they could do.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

It will be ineresting as to report means to practice. Maybe I am wrong but not practicing to me means not reporting. I thought they removed him from the roster DNR designation.

The team currently has 89 on the active roster. Erick All is the only player on any sort of exempt list

You know it’s going to be. Let’s just hope it’s not that and a terrible defense again.

Spot on. I'm interested in seeing how the defense performs. The Locked on Bengals podcast was describing their views that Golden seemingly has players better understanding their responsibilities and that the defense is playing with high energy. Who knows how that translates to the regular season, but hopefully it offers some optimism that an improvement over last year if forthcoming.

I'm confused as to why they are content with the IOL though.

Death. Taxes. And the Bengals undervaluing the guard position.

I thought they would PUP Seth (and then IR him) to keep him on the roster until 2026. Things must have changed with the depth to center.

And now we know restructuring your contract and getting MORE guaranteed money doesn't guarantee a roster spot....
