The search (apparently) is back on....

Not sure what happened to Del Rio, but looks like DC search is back on and heating up.

Capers would be a letdown, as would Allen.

but maybe Del Rio was too good to be true. Or the Bengals are driving a hard bargain and throwing these names out to put pressure on him.

Meh, says "could be a candidate", no story or report of any kind.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

The story is Del Rio isn't a lock, and we need to consider/debate other options.

Interesting that more names are dropping now after weeks of silence.

I agree, Capers would be a huge disappointment.

Capers runs a 3-4 so hopefully that hurts his candidacy.

Actually, we don't.

Announcements should be made within the next 2 days.

That means we still have 2 days to debate them. What else is the board here for?

Any thoughts on Capers or Allen?

By the tweet the post is referencing they make it sound like Allen is preferred over Capers.

Allen did turn around the Saint D. Not sure why they'd let him make a lateral move...

Is this Alex Marvez guy likely to have not just one, but two genuine sources on the various candidates?

We've never heard anything definitive about Del Rio coming to the team. We should assume the search never stopped

The winds seem to shift periodically. Thank goodness we'll actually know in a day or two.

Allen would have been a great get, he’s done a really good job in NO. I have no interest in Capers at all.

Really starting to get worried about this staff if they are looking to add a garbage defensive coordinator like Capers

Capers is an all time great Defensive coordinator why would this be bad?
