Watch #75 just stand around like he's bored. Then he turns and lets a Seattle defender RUN RIGHT PAST HIM!
Holy shit, BLOCK SOMEBODY! (Copy and paste link into browser if video doesn't play)
"I was on my couch last night watching my iPad, just fuming." Callahan says "everyone had their moment in the barrel today. Nice to win but we didn't play well enough offensively to win that game."
Brian Callahan, with a laugh, as he chats about the offense and it not playing well: "I'm pretty salty. I don't know if you've picked up on that."
"There needs to be more production on offense, in general, for guys not named Ja'Marr Chase." Brian Callahan. "End of the day, we're not scoring enough. We're not producing enough."
"Not good enough. Good enough to be 3-3 but not good enough to be where we want to be, not where I hope we'd have been." Brian Callahan on Bengals offense through 6 weeks.
Asked Callahan about improving the run game. Says will consider going under center more.
These coaches have alot to adjust and figure out this week and do their best to get things straightened out down for these upcoming tough games. Pollack needs to get the glass out of his ass and do his job first and foremost...
27th in scoring
32nd in yards
3rd in pass attempts, yet 28th in pass yards (wow)
31st in rush attempts, 32nd in rush yards and 26th in YPC
Burrow's average of 5.30 YPA is the lowest in the NFL (for a QB with over 1000 yards) since Jimmy Clausen in 2010.
From 2009 to present, only the 2018 Cardinals have averaged fewer yards.
Burrow is running around like he's fine. Something else is contributing to this type of ineptitude. I've never been a pin it all on Zac guy, but I have to ask questions.
1. Are Zac and Brian failing to make necessary changes to counteract defenses catching up with our offense?
2. Is Tee holding our offense back with some kind of health or attitude problem (contract)?
3. Is Burrow still unhealthy or turning into Carson Wentz?
4. No Tight End?
What do yall make of the stats, and what do you think the problem is?
Week 6 isn't officially over yet (game tonight) HOWEVER, for the Bengals, it's BYE WEEK!!!
Sure, much has and will be discussed about what ails the Bengals and how to correct it during this mini-minicamp week and a very tiny bit will be discussed about what went right. BUT THAT'S NOT THIS THREAD!
No, instead what are your bold predictions for this team for when we come out of the bye week!
I'll start!
Bold Bodement #1 - the Bengals will NOT go on an 11 game winning street after the bye ... because we'll be resting our starters against the Browns since we'll have secured the the #1 seed in a previous week or 2! 10-1 to end the season, baby!!
Bold Bodement #2 - the Bengals will have a complete game against the 49ers: offense AND defense will show up and play the whole game!
Bold Bodement #3 - the Bengals will again face the Chiefs in the AFCCG but this time in Cincy and Mahommes shows he's no Burrow when it comes to playoff games ON THE ROAD. Bengals (Super) Bowl Bound, Baby!!!
Bold Bodement #4 - the Bengals will face off against the Detroit Lions in the Super Bowl and emerge VICTORIOUS!!!
When OB left with injury and Ford took over I didnt notice much of a drop off.. I dont know what his PFF score was but its the eyeball test.
Good to see in case we need more relief at RT in future.
They got banged up pretty badly against the Browns. CMC might possibly be out looks like he suffered an oblique injury and they might even be without Deebo. I don't wish injury on anyone but if they are out when the Bengals play them they have a greater chance at winning.
