  Ken Riley and Charles Woodson
Posted by: t3r3e3 - 12-22-2015, 01:04 AM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (6)

The Rattler and Woodson are tied for 5th all time in INT's. One is universally seen as a first ballot Hall of Famer. One has never been in serious consideration, although many players with far inferior stats are enshrined in Canton (aka the Ken Anderson conundrum).

What say you?

  Williams vs. Iloka
Posted by: EatonFan - 12-21-2015, 07:31 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (24)

Is Williams going to be the better player?

Just reviewing the few snaps that Williams has had vs Iloka, Williams seems to take better angles and gets much better shots at interceptions vs. Iloka who seems to play through the guy and deliver the hit.

Each are good in their own way but has Williams played himself into even more playing time at the expense of Iloka?

Discuss.

How Madden has the Steelers and Cardinals in superbowl 50? I'm not trying to be a conspiracy nut or anything but if that happened would you all be suspicious?

  Brock or Manning?
Posted by: jj22 - 12-21-2015, 05:22 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (26)

Kubiak just stated at his presser that he is starting from scratch with his qb situation. Some news outlets took that as to mean Brock was benched and Manning would play.

Who would you rather face?

We have 3 weeks to wrap our brains around it
Posted by: Beaker - 12-21-2015, 04:54 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (35)

There is a very high likelihood the Bengals will be playing the steelers in the wildcard round. We have 3 weeks to accept it and change the way we are thinking of that game. We need to stop with the negativity and have the entire fanbase quit being scared little Nancys. The Bengals are the better team. They have shown that all season. We as fans need to start sending out the positive energy and get rid of the negativity.

Why do you think the browns and bills always find a way to lose? Because everyone believes they will and they fulfill that destiny. The negativity surrounding those teams is rampant. The Bengals can and will beat the steelers. We beat them at their place. We beat them in prime time 2 years ago. We lost to them with a back up QB and decimated secondary last week. But even with those factors, you take away the 2 big mistakes and the Bengals win 20-19.

Stpo putting the negative energy and doubt out there! Turn that "we always lose to the steelers" into "the Bengals will beat the steelers" and believe it! We will create our own reality. What better launching point for a deep run in the playoffs than breaking our streak against our most hated rivals? Its time for we the fans to change our narrative. You have 3 weeks to wrap your head around the fact that the steelers will be coming here for the playoffs. Embrace it. Look forward to it. Get excited for the fact that we will be knocking the hated steeelers out of the playoffs. Think of all the butthurt it will create for steeler fans! Who could ask for anything better?

Bring on the steelers!

Marvin on The Team's Reaction to Winning a Playoff Berth
Posted by: CageTheBengal - 12-21-2015, 03:15 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (23)

Quote:Well, winning the division is big. I think that’s a key element, so I’m proud of them for that. Somebody told me I think it’s the third time that we’ve done it in the last seven years, so that’s key. It’s a good thing for our guys. I’m proud of them for that, but there’s enthusiasm in there, but not many smiles. So, they know there’s a lot of work ahead. I don’t know, I almost feel bad for them. They didn’t really enjoy this today. They know what’s ahead. We got a big game coming up again, but we’ve come a long ways for that.

Sounds like the team has really embraced the "Act like you've been there before" approach. I think they got the mental toughness to make a run this year the big question is obviously Mr.Dalton and his thumb.

Pittsburgh Will Be The 6th Seed
Posted by: ItsOdellThurman - 12-21-2015, 01:16 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (86)

They lose the tiebreaker with Kansas City (who faces Cleveland and Oakland at home). The Steelers face Baltimore and Cleveland on the road.

So, unless we beat Denver, it's almost a guaranteed Steelers at Bengals wild card game in week 18. Just three weeks after Dalton's injury.

It's the worst possible nightmare for Cincinnati.

  Playoff tickets
Posted by: Bengalfan73 - 12-21-2015, 12:57 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (8)

Playoff tickets for the Cincinnati Bengals are all sold out. I just wish some of these people who paid top dollar for these tickets would post on this message board.

After reading some of the posts I am shocked we won yesterday. You would think we lost by 40 points or something! LOL
