Colin Cowherd is butthurt |

Apparently Cowherd is a little upset with people acting like Dalton has been playing great this season. I always thought this guy was a joke. He's just butthurt that he's always said Dalton is a below average QB and yet he's playing out of his mind this year. I love that he acts like all of the "great" QBs don't have weapons even though if you actually look they have pretty damn good weapons around them almost all of their career.

How Much do you Trust Nugent? |

I am sitting at about 70% right now. I can't trust the guy. The offense needs to keep scoring when they get down there (they have been superb this season) because I simply don't trust Nugent to make 5/5 kicks. We always talk about trading players... what can we trade for a kicker like Cairo Santos. That kid was gold.
After this season we need to reevaluate the kicking situation because eventually it is going to bite us in the a** (knock on wood). Even if he was the ONLY person to show up in last years playoff game, I just simply can't trust Nugent.
How do you feel about him?

Dontari Poe, Tamba Hali, Justin Houston..... met a wall they could not penetrate. Have to give it up to Paul Alexander and his Oline. Andy has only been sacked twice this year. Outstanding play Gentlemen.....

Vinny Rey is 8th in the league in tackles with 36.
Adam Jones is first in the league in tackles by a CB.
Carlos Dunlap and Geno Atkins are 2 of only 5 defensive players that have at least 3 sacks and 3 stuffs (tackle for loss on running play). The others are J.J. Watt, Aaron Donald, and Aaron Lynch.
Huber is third in the league in both punting average and net punting avg. He is first in number of punts downed inside the 10 yard line (5) despite only punting 14 times.

The issue of the "difficult schedule" argument |

Bengals are 4-0, which is great, but obviously there are still a lot of Bengals fans not impressed with the Bengals record, including me. That's not because I think the Bengals are bad, I actually do think that they're good which is why I'm not that impressed by their record. I wouldn't say we're on the Patriots level, but I wouldn't be impressed if I was a Patriots fan either. They're supposed to be winning their games, much like I believe the Bengals should be winning theirs. There hasn't been a team yet this year that I thought the Bengals would lose to. So, for me it's hard to feel "impressed" knowing how good our team is and that it's the regular season against questionable teams. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I will be absolutely impressed and jumping out of my seat if we can win a playoff game this year. My Bengals bar is high. We SHOULD be doing this good, so it's not surprising or impressive to me, but I am happy that we're not losing.
The main thing I wanted to address with this thread is the argument that the Bengals at first had a "hard schedule" but now have a weak one since we're winning. I would honestly like to hear peoples opinions of how they came to the conclusions that the Bengals had a hard schedule in the first place before the season even started or if they believe the Bengals now have a weak schedule. I personally believe it's a dull argument because it sounds like a lot people make these sort of assumptions based on teams records from the previous year. I don't think it's fair to say how "difficult" a teams schedule is until you've actually seen what the teams can do within the current season.

I just thought it'd be fun to see the pace Dalton's stats are on after each week. I think it'd be interesting to compare the pace he's on to where he'll eventually end up.
My plan is to update this post after every game with the new pace he's on.
For the record, I'm not saying this means anything. I just think the final comparison will be interesting.
