Talked to someone who mentioned John Simpson on the NYJ who will be a free agent next season. Per my understanding he is a 6th man type player and has been overshadowed his career but is a good player. Sounds like a good trade candidate.

Burrow is an incredible quarterback. He's actually the beest in the league, IMCO, but we just haven't had a solid line blocking for him.

Even so, he has still taken us to the AFCC game, the Super Bowl, and one game from the playoffs last season.

My question is, will we ever go all-out to give him an offensive line to finally give him a little bit of time?

I know it's not as easy as just deciding to do it, and maybe Peters will be able to make them at least average, but are we ever going to sell-out to give him the line he deserves?

If it were me, I'd take the money we'd spend on Hendrickson an spend it all on our line.

Like I said, I know it's not easy, but I feel like a protected Burrow could outscore any team, even without a lot of money sunk into the defense.

Trey will face major fines if he chooses to miss any mandatory activities. If he misses all 3 days, over $100K. Trey is at an impasses as he is inder contract, show up to MANDATORY TEAM ACTIVITIESS or face major fines like they 2 guys below are facing.

It is not a huge deal for someone making 15.8 million, but if it continues, not only the fines, but he will miss weekly salary starting week one if he does not report. One game check is close to 1 million alone.

According to Adam Schefter, Aiyuk and Lamb skipping mandatory minicamp will dramatically affect their fine amounts per the three days the camp takes place. Day one will see them fined $16,953, day two will increase to $33,908, and day three will increase again to $50,855.

This will bring the grand total of fines for missing minicamp to a staggering $101,716 for both players. According to a report from Yahoo Finance's George Malone from 2020, Seahawks CB Cam Chancellor was fined over one million for skipping 37 days from minicamp. Per Malone, "The bulk of Chancellor's fine amount came in 2015 when he was docked $1,110,000 for missing 37 days of training camp."

What is going on with Pratt? If it wasn't for Trey, this would be the offseason story / blunder.

What is the end game? It's past June 1st so a cut or trade could have been done. Why are they waiting? Are they hoping he returns?

I read somewhere that it was more of the Bengals not wanting to bring him back then it was Pratt not wanting to return. Are they trying to get him to take a pay cut?

This situation is odd and has been overlooked by the media and fans alike. He isn't mentioned by LB coaches, local media, or even Zac anymore. It's as if he isn't on the team so why does he remain on the team?

Say what you want about Pratt, but he has earned some goodwill, enough to be able to be treated decently (released and able to find another team). The way they have handled him has went from "there must be a plan" to flat out petty.

I was just curious what everyone thinks. Does anyone think Brady or even the whole team would have had the success they did if they were in the AFCN? I see similarities with NE at the time to today’s Bengals.
