But he’s grown on me. Nick Wrights showlisted top 10 coaches and their list was:
Andy Reid
Sean McVay
John Harbaugh
Sean Peyton
Mike Tomlin
Kyle Shanahan
Mike LeFleur
Kevin Stefanski
Sean McDermott
Demico Ryan’s
Idk how Zac Taylor isn’t on this list. Ryans essentially had a Zac Taylor like come up and is already on their list. How can Zac who’s basically done that for 2 years not on the list?
Sports TV is laughable

The Packers, as a publically owned team, must release their finances. They have reported $402,000,000 in revenue-sharing money from the NFL. You can assume the Bengals and all other NFL teams receive similar amounts.
This does not include local ticket money, licensing deals, pre-season rights, stadium fees, etc which are team-specific
The player salary cap for 2024 is $255 mllion

Burrow Ranked As 2nd-Best QB In The NFL By ESPN! |

ESPN ranked the top ten QBs in the league and ranked Burrow second behind Mahomes!
I love that he's getting this much respect and I think he'll blow the roof off the league with his best offensive line yet!
Quote:Burrow hasn't exactly hurt his standing in the pantheon since last year's voting -- he's still considered one of the game's very best and won a close race for No. 2 -- but his growing injury file has planted a seed of doubt.
He played conservatively early in the season while managing a calf strain, and the wrist injury suffered in a Nov. 16 loss at Baltimore all but derailed Cincinnati's season. Burrow had surgery to repair a torn ligament but is participating in offseason workouts and the early returns are good. His 51.8 QBR of 2023 was far below the previous two seasons.
"High level in all areas, can't stay healthy," said an AFC scout, referencing Burrow's ACL tear in 2020 as part of the bigger concern. "No [Joe] Mixon and the Tee Higgins holdout are big concerns." There's little debate about Burrow's greatness when he's healthy and spinning it. His career completion percentage of 68% is the highest in NFL history through a player's first four seasons (minimum 1,000 attempts).
He hasn't been able to stay healthy but he has also been getting destroyed by defenses because of shitty line play. The article doesn't even mention the line at all, which is surprising to me since he has accomplished so much with bad lines.
Quote:"Baller. Release. Decision-making. Tough as nails," said a veteran NFC offensive coach. "One play away from already having a ring. And young so the injury not as concerning."
Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase are tracking to become one of the all-time great pass-catching duos. Since Chase entered the league in 2021, Burrow has thrown 22 touchdown passes that traveled 20-plus air yards. But while Chase is in the long-term plans, the Bengals franchise-tagged Higgins, who has requested a trade and hasn't signed his tender.
Several evaluators say Burrow is the common denominator who can offset a personnel loss or two.
"Burrow is still probably the most consistent of all the guys," an NFL executive said. "A pure thrower who's in complete command of the offense and comes up big in big moments. He knows when to attack and be aggressive vs. when to take the easy yards. And the dude is so tough."
I like how that scout did mention that Burrow was one play away from a Super Bowl victory and, he doesn't mention it, but the line was the reason for the play failing.
I love the mention of Chase because I think those two put up one of the best seasons ever for a QB-receiver duo.
I think we see his full potential of being a pure passer now that he should have a line that gives him some protection.
It's going to be a big year!

Stat lines iv put money on so far this offseason |

Some guys we don’t know how they are gonna play next season but we all like to predict.
I thought I’d share my money picks iv made so far and I’d like to hear what stat lines you guys FOR SURE think are happening. Not lines you’d like to see but what are the numbers are are 100% sure will happen?
First Burrow is throwing for 3500 yards and 30TDs. I predict he’ll remain healthy so i don’t see any world how this bet will fail.
Myles Murphy will have 10 sacks. Yep i think he’ll eat into Hubbard minutes finally and i think he’ll totally bench Ossai. By week 10 this kid will be pass rusher B and he’s gona finish the year with at least 10 sacks.
Jamar Chase is going for 1700 yards and 10 TDs. To me this is the safest bet besides the Burrow pick. If Burrow does well SOMEONE has to benefit.
Charlie Jones to have at least 1 return TD. Nothing else to say. I think everyone thinks guys like Tyreke Hill will excel on kickoffs with the new rules but i think the real technical kick returns are actually gonna eat the most. With head on contact happening sooner than before, the returners are gonna be able to think a little longer before returning it and i think there will be a boom around the league in returns.
No back goes for over 1000 yards. I think the o line is gonna be good so we’ll pass more. Now Brown could get over 500 yards receiving but i think we’re actually gonna run less than ever before.
Only made 2 for defense but my other defensive sure fire bet is CTB getting at least 3 picks. I think his number will be low because teams just aren’t gonna throw to him much. I think Turner is gonna go through hell aside from CTB and i think Dax is gonna struggle at first if he starts at CB. I could actually see CTB being all pro but i didn’t have the balls to take that bet. Too many good corners in the AFC.

I was just looking at our schedule. I missed my earlier looks that we have 2 quick turnaround Sunday and then Thursday games.
I worry as hard to play one 4 days turn around and we have 2.
I have never noticed 2 Thursday night games in the past. Is this new?
Both are 2 AFCN games, first Ravens and then Browns.
Does it concern anyone?
