Lamar Jackson Didn't Know The Ravens Were Installing A New Offense!
#1
Hilarious Hilarious Hilarious Hilarious Hilarious Hilarious

Apparently, he showed up to camp and they just surprised him with an entirely new offense!

Quote:With the Ravens hiring a new offensive coordinator this year, it probably shouldn't have come as a surprise to anyone in Baltimore that the team would be installing a new offense this offseason, but apparently, no one told Lamar Jackson.
When Jackson showed up for the team's first round of offseason training activities (OTAs) last week, the Ravens quarterback literally had no idea that he was going to be spending his week implementing a new offense.

"Coming in, I didn't know we would have a totally different offense," Jackson admitted, via the Ravens' official website. "When I got here, coach was like, 'Yea, we have a totally new system. You're going to have go through this and that.' It's been getting to me a little bit."
Although the Ravens offense ranked ninth in the NFL in yards per game last season, the team still decided to dump offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg after Baltimore's 23-17 playoff loss to the Chargers. To replace Mornhinweg, the Ravens brought in Greg Roman, who basically decided to start over from scratch, which means Jackson had to learn on the fly last week, and apparently, it doesn't sound like he got off to a hot start.
"I'd say, my first day, I sucked. Second day, I did better. Today, it was all right but it could've been better," Jackson said, via ESPN.com. "I'm always trying to be perfect in practice."

You'd think that he'd pay attention to all this and be interested in the team's future!

There's more in the link, but I love it because Jackson's not the sharpest knife in the drawer and I'm pretty sure that he's going to struggle this year!

It's going to be a long year for Ravens' fans!

You pay more attention to your teams’ rivals than anyone I know.

One story on the Ravens in the last how long is paying a lot of attention to them?

Explain that one to me!

Will do. ThumbsUp

You may currently be on a bit of a break, but you post a LOT about the Ravens and Steelers (especially during the season).  Now, until today, that was just my impression.  But since you asked me to explain in more detail, I decided to see if I could find evidence to back up those impressions.  I found some.

Let’s start with this:

http://thebengalsboard.com/Thread-Lamar-Jackson-Didn-t-Know-The-Ravens-Were-Installing-A-New-Offense

http://thebengalsboard.com/Thread-Kevin-Colbert-To-Emmanuel-Sanders-What-An-Asshole

http://thebengalsboard.com/Thread-Antonio-Brown-To-The-Raiders-Steelers-Get-Screwed

http://thebengalsboard.com/Thread-Bell-Plans-On-Returning-Now

http://thebengalsboard.com/Thread-Steelers-Listening-To-Trade-Talks-For-Bell

This is just a small sample.  You really do start a lot of threads here, and they’re almost always about how the other teams are bad rather than about how the Bengals are good.  In fact, you've started more smack threads than anyone else. That's especially true among the other Bengal fans, none of whom even comes close to being as prolific as you.  You also start more threads about other teams than you have your own.  Your thread count here is over twice that as what you've done in Jungle Noise.

So, yeah , you may have taken a respite as of late, but I’d say the above facts support the claim that, overall, you pay more attention to the rival teams than anyone else here.

Not that I have a problem with that.  You're a passionate fan.  It's not your fault if the foibles of other teams give you more reason to get excited than the virtues of your own.  LOL

First off, those are spread out.

Secondly, this is a smack thread, meaning that I should post smack about your teams hiring murderers, rapists, etc.

Third, I saw this (I believe) on my Yahoo! homepage when I opened up my browser, meaning it was right in my face, and then I searched for another, more in-depth article.

Translation: spending two minutes clicking a link, reading it, and then searching for another article isn't being obsessive about the other teams in the division, although I can't fault someone that cheers for a quarterback that doesn't even understand what "no" means to be able to comprehend that simple concept  ThumbsUp

I never said it was obsessive. I merely made the objective claim that you pay more attention to rivals than anyone else on this forum. And then I backed up the claim with evidence, like the fact that you’ve posted these types of threads way more often than anyone else. But I never once said anything about obsessiveness.

That being said, you may want to reflect on the fact that reading my objective account of your activities made you think 'obsession'.

I just find it hilarious that you two "amazing franchises" have all these flaws that no one seems to notice and all of you seem to ignore.

This is also Smack Talk, if you didn't notice, and if your franchises didn't make it so easy, then I'd have nothing to post about and you'd all just have a nice circle-jerk.

You are, once again, responding to a point I didn’t make.  Both franchises do make it easy to make fun of them, I agree.  But my point - which I backed up with data - was that you take advantage of those opportunities more often than anyone (by far).  I made that point without stating any judgment.  In fact, you may recall that I even stated (in post 4) that I had no problem with you being this prolific.  I mean, when the faults of other teams are more interesting than the virtues of your own, what else are you going to do?

By the way, I am also currently providing more evidence for another point I have made elsewhere.  I have said in other threads that it is easy to distract you from your original post.  We are now eight posts in and the only mention of your original point has been in that first post.

So, having demonstrated both of my points quite sufficiently, I now release you to continue talking about ... what was it again?  Oh yeah, Lamar Jackson.  Hopefully someone out there still wants to talk about that.  LOL

This is a smack forum. What do you expect him to post on the weather in those cities. You have no smack. All you do is whine about people trying to talk smack in a smack forum. Get with the program.

I never said he shouldn't. I just said he did it more than anyone. Then he asked me to explain why I thought that. So I did.

And if you really want to get with the program, read the last two paragraphs of post #8. LOL

Brad makes a smack talk thread that isn't complete trash for once and it's derailed by post 2 anyways.
