It seems like nearly every time we try to run outside, it fails. Yet...we keep trying it.
It also seems like our runs inside the tackles generally work.
Is this what you all are seeing too?

The Chiefs found a gem in Pacheco in last year's draft (7th Round out of Rutgers).
Chase Brown had a much better college career at a bigger school vs better competition.
Both are burners. Pacheco is 5'10, 216 and Brown is 5'10, 212.
Pacheco carries the load for KC, I would like to see Brown get more and more looks each game.

He needs 720 receiving yards over the rest of season including post season to have most receiving yards in NFL history through his first 3 seasons. Despite missing nearly a half season with injuries

That we were on the givieng end of a Mike White and TJ Yates game.
I wonder if Jax thinks they never do well against backups.

Burrow and his grasp on this offense... |

I know its only one game and this will be a SLIGHT over reaction...but I think it's becoming a bit more clear how this offense operates.
It's basically a system in which Burrow wants it to all run through him. Line up in spread, diagnose, make the play. He wants it ALL to fall on him and his big brain. He wants to throw it 50 times a game and HE wants to beat you.
It's worked and it's been fine to an extent, but man...it might be time for Joe to look himself in the mirror and maybe say "yeah, this doesn't have to be THAT hard and ALL fall on me".
Running the ball is the absolute key to opening this offense up and relieving some pressure off Burrow (or whoever is at QB)...he needs to be open to that, and other ways to make it easier on himself.
I think a lot of us have gotten it twisted that ZT want the offense to be a certain way, but in the end, I think it's Joe.
Again, this isn't a criticism of Joe (because he's amazing), but just pointing out how it could be better.

The Cincinnati Bengals nominated C Ted Karras as their candidate for the Walter Peyton Man of the Year award. With his Cincy Hat initiative, Ted has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Village of Merici a community for adults with developmental disabilities. He is active with their community as well bringing residents to games, and going to the Village to attend events.
He is active in the Cincinnati community as well. He visits schools. hospitals, and charity events. On top of that, he is an all around good guy

5 Games left
4 games could be our backup QB vs a backup QB
Week 14 Colts Minshew
Week 15 Vikings Dobbs
Week 16 Steelers Trubisky
Week 17 Chiefs Kermit (the frog)
Week 18 Browns Flacco
Wow, we might be able to sneak in there.
