“The refs, they obviously have it out for me, but you can’t call a bulls--- flag like that at the end of the game,” Burfict said. “He looked at my number and then threw it.”
“The refs were late to blow whistles all night, and they threw the flag late,” Burfict said. "Once the dude [Green] flopped, the ref looked at me and seen it was my number and then threw the flag. I can’t control that. Just keep playing football.”

Cincy progressively gets worse against the average as the game progresses. This might be because they get off to hot starts, but the stats prove what we see. Quintessential Marvin Ball.
1st quarter - 4th in points
2nd quarter - 10th in points
3rd quarter - 12th in points
4th quarter - 16th in points
New England (the team that doesn't give a shit about the scoreboard):
1st quarter - 5th in points
2nd quarter - 2nd in points
3rd quarter - 4th in points
4th quarter - 3rd in points
Arizona (leading the league in TDs, I believe) - look how they close and open the half.
1st quarter - 6th in points
2nd quarter - 1st in points
3rd quarter - 1st in points
4th quarter - 13th in points (probably time for them to take the pedal off)

AJ Green Disappointed Me Last Night |

He had two key moments in that second half to score a TD and he didn't. He's one of the top WR in the league and can't blow catches like that. He's done this in the past during key moments and Ive given him a pass. He's gotta get his shit together and catch those passes in defining game moments like last night.
I know Im going to get hell for saying this, but I have no confidence whatsoever this team is going to win in the post season. They ALWAYS fall apart in key moments...always! Last night in overtime our defense let them go the length of the field and score and their defense smothered us.
If this team isn't the definition of Groundhog's Day, nothing is...

HOME
Pittsburgh
Baltimore
Cleveland
Buffalo
Miami
Philadelphia
Washington (London)
Denver (likely, since we played them on the road this year)
AWAY
Pittsburgh
Baltimore
Cleveland
New York Jets
New England
New York Giants
Dallas
Houston (likely, since we played them at home this year)
That's a pretty brutal road slate and essentially a 9th road game in London.

In watching many Pittsburgh games I've noticed that Ben will throw the long ball to his receivers a few times a game just to try to get pass interference calls. I used to think they just liked to go down the field a lot but that is not the case. He literally will put air under the ball so his receivers can go up and high point the attempt while the defender has their head turned.
Call me crazy but this is part of their game planning strategy. And last nights game would have been the perfect opportunity for us to do the same in the 3rd quarter. Our O had become so stagnant and needed a big play or something to change momentum. Take a shot, probably not with AJ Green as they tend to roll coverage his way, but with Mo Sanu or Marvin Jones. Both of these guys are usually singled up and can go up and make plays on the ball.
Go back and watch Pittsburgh and see how many pass interference calls they get like this. Heck, I think there were 2 or 3 this past week against Baltimore.

With the news of AJM getting an MRI, I think its time to bring in tebow.
Give the guy a shot. He'll have all the talent in the world around him.

I get it we choked away the bye . But mccarron was playing lights out on mnf against the best defense in football. He will have another week to get better.
The 2nd half I have no idea why we ran a vanilla offense so I'm worried from the coaching but aj played a great game .
Nugent missing that field goal turned momentum for the entire game. That 2nd half von miller and their pass rush just woke up .
I have confidence that mccarron can win us a playoff game and dalton can come back .
I understand everyone had hopes of a title run this year and that might be up in the air but I think we get a playoff win this year and who knows after that. That was a big game and mccaron did everything he could in that game . Of course the bobbled snap blows but who knows if he would of atleast got us in field goal range or not .
Dalton is better but idk that dalton would of handled that pressure any better in the 2nd half .
Aj mccarron will have eifert back soon and hopefully we get illoka back as well. Today sucks after last night but don't lose hope .
