  I got something to say....

F*** Carson Palmer and F*** his "revenge narrative".

Damn media construct that him and Arians have played up for attention.

This team gave him everything he needed to succeed (O-line, receivers, running game, etc.) and he had some good years because of that. How do you think he would have fared in Cleveland over the same period?

And what does he do? Cries because he isn't the one calling all the shots for the franchise and refuses to play.

Now, he tells everyone he wants to "get us" for what? For doing what he wanted us to do and trade him?

What a f***ing moron!

F*** him. Candy-ass little whiney baby. And f*** Arians too for going along with this media hype s***.

Enjoy your "revenge" Carson for the full fifteen minutes that it lasts. When the chips are down, your teammates know that they can rely on you to care more about what is important to yourself, you self-important twit.

A Bengals Fans Guide to Breaking a Curse
Posted by: CageTheBengal - 11-23-2015, 02:10 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - No Replies

Quote:"Many people involved in Pagan and Wiccan spirituality find themselves, at some point, worrying about magical attack. What if someone casts a spell on me? How will I know? What do I do? More importantly, how do I protect myself so that it doesn’t happen in the first place?"

Okay so clearly there is a curse going on around here! The players abilities do not seem to matter when it comes to prime-time football. (Except TNF but everyone knows that's not even prime time it's just called a prime time game for some reason.) So with all of the curse talk that has been going around for the past 4-5 years I figured it's time we stop crying about it and find out what we can do to stop it!

First of all lets determine we actually have a curse...

Quote:   Is there someone in your life that you have angered or offended in some way?

Is that person someone who has the magical knowledge to place a harmful spell on you?

Is a hex or curse the only possible explanation for what is happening to you?

Many people also choose to use divination as a way of determining whether they're the victim of a hex or a curse, but if you do this, bear in mind that your own fears and worries may effect the outcome.

I think we need to focus on the bolded option and ignore the last sentence. Is there any possible way to Bengals can lose a prime time game other then a curse? Injuries? Nope. A great gameplan by the opposing team? Nope. Physics? Nope. There is no other possible explanation in the whole universe...The curse is real.

So what do we do?

Quote:If you feel you've genuinely been the victim of a magical attack, the first thing to do is protect yourself from further mischief. Once you've done that, you need to get started on removal of the curse or hex. There are several methods of doing this. Some examples that may be used successfully include:

Create a "magic mirror" spell which bounces the hex or curse back to its sender

Create a doll or poppet to take the damage in your place

Perform a working that will remove negative influences from your life

Use meditation, Reiki, chakra healing, or other energy work to lift the spell

For general protection, most people use a simple shielding method. This is a psychic shell that one draws around themselves. You can do this either by casting a circle of protection and recharging it periodically, or you can charge an amulet or talisman with protective properties. This will be an effective way of protecting you in the majority of magical attacks.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get this done? Is it possible to cast a circle of protection around the whole team? Are circles of protection mobile? Maybe it would be easier to charge multiple amulets with protective properties and send them out to the team. I'm pretty sure amulets aren't a part of the dress code so they should be okay to wear them during the game.

Another method that wasn't mentioned is sacrificing someone. The Aztecs used to sacrifice people by throwing them in volcanoes so the sun would be happy. Maybe there is a football god? Ninja

All of my info came from here.

What is up with our passing game?
Posted by: WeezyBengal - 11-23-2015, 12:06 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (73)

The past two games the coaches have been hand cuffing Dalton, just like they did last year. Its either a five yard out/quick slant or a 60 yard bomb down the sideline where only the receiver has a small chance of getting it.

When the Bengals were down in the second half, that's when they finally unleashed him. He was throwing the ball down the middle of the field/all over the field, hitting different receivers, and looked great.

Not sure what the hell is going on with our offense lately. Lets stop trying to be too cute and let Andy do his thing.

The Last Offensive Play Of The Game Was A TERRIBLE Call
Posted by: GodFather - 11-23-2015, 02:57 AM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (38)

Its 3rd and two with over a minute left, plenty of time and a timeout and what do we do, go of the end zone? First off get the first down. We have time and be patient. We don't need to go for it all at that point, and more importantly give the Cards all that time left to score.

It ended horribly and it was another game that this team looked like shit in primetime. The stupid penalties missed assignments and blocks. If this is a prime time example of the playoffs....  0-5.

  Yes, it is a loss...but....

I am proud of the way this team fought. Not trying to make excuses. If I wanted to do that, I would be complaining about the officiating (which sucked). Traveling several time zones on a short week is very, very tough. Dalton didn't force stupid passes in the face of that massive pass rush. His #1 receiver was nonexistent (again), but he was able to put up 31 points against a very good defense in a hostile environment.

Marvin and AJ dropped balls that could have won the game, but it just wasn't meant to be tonight. Hats off to Dalton. He played outstanding in the face of that pass rush.

I'm not happy, but I think the team showed a toughness that I didn't see the previous week against the Texans. I will take that kind of effort.

Now, to get back in the W column against the Rams.

Bengals and Cards versus teams .500 or better
Posted by: fredtoast - 11-22-2015, 09:44 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (9)

The Cards have lost the only game they have played against a team that is .500 or better (Steelers)

Bengals are 3-1 in games they have played against teams that are .500 or better (Steelers, Bills, Chiefs, Texans)
