Joe Burrow contract theory |

Just throwing this out there to see what other people think.
What are the odds that Joey B takes a much more team friendly contract so that it's easier to re-sign Tee and Ja'Marr and who knows who else?
I really think WINNING is more important to Joe than being the highest paid player.
Thoughts?

Jonah settling in at RT |

Hearing from multiple people Jonah is doing really well at RT so far in TC.
Liscow and Rapien talked about it yesterday in LOB podcast. Charlie Goldsmith tweeted about it as well, saying he's "getting ready to call the right tackle battle because of how good Jonah Williams has looked."
Frank Pollack was quoted saying, "It looks like he (Williams) has been there (RT) for years."
If this plays out, the biggest question on the OL might finally be answered, and it now becomes how far along has Volson come with a full offseason?
It would be unfortunate for Jackson Carman not grabbing a starting gig in his 3rd season, but he's competing with D'Ante Smith as the swing tackle.

How do you like going into the year with HIGH expectations? |

Ever since I began following this team (mid 90s), there haven't been a ton of high expectations going into a season. Sure we have had some decent teams (Palmer, Dalton) but even with those teams, I didn't really think it was ever Super Bowl or bust unless the stars truly aligned. Getting a playoff win was always kind of the goal in my mind.
Well, now that has changed. We have firmly gotten over the hump and have been to two straight AFC Championship games.
So, my question to you is this:
How do you feel going into the season where the expecations are mainly AFC Championship game/Super Bowl or bust? Do you like it more or less than "having an outside shot at a Super Bowl"? Do you like being the favorite?
Every game is going to matter that much more. The 1 seed is now at a premium. Every game wil be that much more stressful. It's a good and bad thing. Good in the sense that there are higher expectations because we actually have a good team, but bad in the sense that it does bring that stress, anxiety, and sense or urgency like a lot of us fans have never seen before.

It is kind of hard to read but the Bengals are asking the NFL for permission to wear the white helmet with their regular white striped uniform as opposed to just with the alternative white jerseys

Kay Adams and her Up and Adams show will be broadcasting from Bengals camp tomorrow. She is hoping to interview JoeyB. She may have more luck with the other 89 guys on the roster.
Should be fun regardless though
