Anybody going to training camp tomorrow?

I won't get as much individual time with the players since it's not in the stadium but I assume I'll still get some.

I'm hoping Burrow's out there, sees me sitting off to the side in his jersey, and thinks "hey, that looks like an energetic cripple that I should go talk to!"

I'm going to tell the linemen that our success rests on them performing and then also chat with the DBs since that's where I played pre-tree. Specifically I liked how Hill and Scott played.

Anybody else have anything I should say to any players?

I'm going to go ahead and say that I would not be comfortable with either Trevor Siemian or Jack Browning having to steer the ship for more than a series or two in regular season action. Browning looks to have some steady in him to be developed, as he seemed to elevate TE Tanner Hudson when plays began to break down. Browning looks to be worth keeping around and continuing his development.

Trevor Siemian on the other hand looked really lost and flustered, especially when you consider that he's got 8 years of experience, including 30 starts. Not only did he look "lost" at times, I questioned what appeared to be a lack of effort. Many of us seemed comfortable with him as backup QB when he was signed, but now I'm not so sure that he's the guy.

We heard rumblings during the off-season that Zac wanted to add more motion and 3 WR stacks



I was not watching for these things so does anyone know if we used much motion in the pass game?

Seems like some we should be doing way more than we do.

I'll start. If the players didn't have numbers I would have had no clue who Myles Murphy was out there. He made close to 0 impact and didn't pop off the screen the way you would expect a physical freak athletically to. I had hopes of him being a contributor in pass rush situations this season but seeing him get stonewalled by backup OL all night has tempered that expectation. By no means have I declared him a bust but after that first impression I don't see him cracking the 2 deep on the DL this season.

I noticed he didn't play any preseason snaps. When did he get elevated to "hot shit" status? You'd think he'd need the reps with the rest of them.

In your upcoming season. It was only preseason and I’m sure you guys would have beaten us if Burrow and all your starters played. I’m not sure what to make of Love. I hope he is the real deal. We shall see. I hope we have a rematch in the Super Bowl. I doubt we get there this year though.

Well, Browning getting the start and interestingly the on ly first team defender starting is Dax Hill.
