Zac is a mid tier play caller at best, Burrow makes him, everyone in the league or affiliated with football knows this...if you don't you're kidding yourself. Zac will go back to Dalton Zac and we will be lucky to win 1-2 more games if Burrow is in fact out.

This defense is atrocious without them. Heck I miss Eli Apple too...

They have to be the worst defense in football. They are horrible against the pass and maybe even worst against the run. Murphy is a complete bust.. This teams problems are way more than just a hurt Burrow...

According to Jeremy Fowler it doesn't look optimistic for the Bengals to sign Higgins to any long term deal.

Cincinnati will almost certainly give wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase an extension this offseason. And with Higgins likely looking for WR1 money, it seems unlikely that he would sign an extension instead of hitting the open market (where his value will only increase). The Bengals can and should find a way to bring Higgins back -- we've seen how important it is to have multiple elite options at wide receiver. But it won't be easy.

Wide receiver Tyler Boyd is also set to hit free agency this offseason, though he's a player that Cincinnati could attempt to replace through the draft.

Right tackle Jonah Williams is also set to be a free agent after the 2023 season. Fowler thinks Williams will likely command an average annual salary in the "double-digit range" (at least north of $10 million, but not likely more than $17 million).

It sounds like it's going to be an extremely busy (and important) offseason for the Bengals.

I follow the Cleveland Cavs message board and they have a rant thread that we use to get out our knee jerk takes that may be a little bit illogical or out there.


It has seemed to keep crazy threads off the board because whenever we get mad at the Cavs ppl just post in there instead of making 10 separate threads of crazy shit like “Trade Darius Garland for a bag of chips because he had one bad game”

Not sure how to link it but it was the Bengals on the Brain YouTube video.

He showed a LOT of issues and Nick Scott came in for special attention as he showed Scott was clearly disrupting the entire secondary by wrong breaks, hesitation and other issues. Also showed Murphy was nowhere near a sub for Sam Hubbard and could not set the edge. CTB also got some dings for failing to stay with the receivers and he made an overall note that the D plays Cover 3 this year over 2/3 the time and the DBs are rigidly staying in their zones and not rolling to the receivers - causing some of the wide open targets as teams are noticing and receivers are going to the edges between the zones.
